Ông Đinh Hoàng Linh là một nhà ngoại giao chuyên nghiệp với nhiều kinh nghiệm trong các vị trí quan trọng tại Bộ Ngoại giao Việt Nam.

Ông bắt đầu sự nghiệp ngoại giao vào năm 1994 với vai trò cán bộ báo chí tại Trung tâm Báo chí nước ngoài. Trong giai đoạn này, ông đã làm việc tích cực với nhiều phóng viên và đoàn báo chí quốc tế đưa tin về các sự kiện quan trọng tại Việt Nam cho đến năm 2006.

Từ năm 2006 đến 2009, ông đảm nhiệm cương vị Lãnh sự tại Tổng Lãnh sự quán Việt Nam ở Osaka, Nhật Bản. Sau đó, từ năm 2009 đến 2011, ông giữ chức Trưởng phòng Điều phối tại Trung tâm Báo chí nước ngoài, phụ trách quản lý hoạt động báo chí và điều phối các đoàn làm phim quốc tế đến Việt Nam.

Từ năm 2011 đến tháng 3 năm 2013, ông là Trợ lý Tổng Giám đốc Trung tâm Báo chí nước ngoài, chịu trách nhiệm tổ chức các sự kiện báo chí và hỗ trợ hoạt động tác nghiệp của phóng viên, đoàn làm phim quốc tế tại Việt Nam. Từ tháng 4 năm 2013 đến tháng 12 năm 2016, ông giữ chức Phó Tổng Giám đốc Trung tâm Báo chí nước ngoài, Bộ Ngoại giao Việt Nam. Trong cả hai vai trò này, ông đã đóng góp quan trọng vào công tác thông tin đối ngoại, góp phần quảng bá văn hóa truyền thống và đa dạng của Việt Nam ra thế giới.

Từ tháng 12 năm 2016 đến tháng 1 năm 2020, ông là Tham tán Công sứ, Phó Đại sứ tại Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Singapore. Sau khi kết thúc nhiệm kỳ tại Singapore, ông được bổ nhiệm làm Vụ trưởng Vụ Văn hóa - Thông tin, Ủy ban Nhà nước về người Việt Nam ở nước ngoài.

Tháng 12 năm 2023, ông đảm nhận cương vị Vụ trưởng Vụ Pháp chế - Thanh tra, Ủy ban Nhà nước về người Việt Nam ở nước ngoài. Đến tháng 10 năm 2024, ông là Vụ trưởng Ủy ban Nhà nước về người Việt Nam ở nước ngoài.

Tháng 2 năm 2025, ông được bổ nhiệm làm Tổng Lãnh sự nước Cộng hòa Xã hội Chủ nghĩa Việt Nam tại Khon Kaen, Vương quốc Thái Lan.

Mr. Linh Dinh Hoang is a career diplomat with extensive experience in various key positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam.

He began his diplomatic career in 1994 as a press officer at the Foreign Press Center, where he worked tirelessly with various foreign correspondents and press delegations covering significant events in Vietnam until 2006.

From 2006 to 2009, he served as a Consul at the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, Japan. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, he was the Head of the Coordination Division at the Foreign Press Center, managing press activities and coordinating filming visits by international media delegations.

Between 2011 and March 2013, he served as the Assistant to the Director General at the Foreign Press Center, taking on responsibilities in organizing press events and facilitating press activities and filming visits by worldwide correspondents and film crews to Vietnam. From April 2013 to December 2016, he was the Deputy General Director of the Foreign Press Center, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam. In both roles, he played a crucial role in external information dissemination, contributing to the promotion of Vietnam's traditional and diverse culture worldwide.

From December 2016 to January 2020, he served as the Minister Counsellor, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Viet Nam in Singapore. After returning from Singapore, he was appointed as the Director of the Culture and Information Department of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese.

In December 2023, he took on the role of Director General of the Department of Legal Affairs and Inspection, State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese. In October 2024, he was the Director General of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs.

In February 2025, he was appointed as the Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Khon Kaen, Kingdom of Thailand.
